When you join, you’ll be part of a club of local families all called a PACK. Packs are made up of lots of children, boys and girls, in grades K-5. There is one adult called a “Cubmaster” who helps lead pack meetings, usually once per month. This person is also a great resource for questions and help.

Each grade level is given a special animal name, and grouped into a DEN. These families work together to achieve grade-specific goals that are in your handbook. Each den has an adult called a “Den Leader” who helps coordinate the activities – but the responsibility of helping plan events is shared by all the parents. Dens usually meet once or twice a month.

In addition to local Pack  and Den events, there are a lot of opportunities to participate in regional events. We’re part of the Southeast Minnesota regional group, called “GAMEHAVEN COUNCIL”. The Council has a bunch of volunteer and professional “Scouters” to help you with advice, and to lead events. Every year, Cubs can attend lots of different free or reduced cost events.
